The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Global Alternative Energy Sector decreased by 4.13% MoM, and decreased by 21.71% since October 2023, reaching 696 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 193 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 1.58% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 223 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.23% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 37.74% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 16.17%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.61%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.83% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 5.71%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 234, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 271 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 772.
