The number of active Internet of Things related job postings driven by Internet of Things in the Power sector of the Europe region decreased by 11.92% MoM, and decreased by 9.85% since October 2023, reaching 421 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 122 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 30.29% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 179 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 5.92% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 4.69% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 24.15%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 1.59%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.4% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 8.8%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 147, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 185 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 459.
