The number of active Technology related job postings in the Retailing sector of India decreased by 35.06% MoM, and decreased by 39.29% since October 2023, reaching 1,976 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 798 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 4.31% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,865 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 114.12% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 41.19% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 84.84%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 16.22%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 15.33% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 22.72%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 989, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 1,222 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 2,855.
