The second-largest deal was between Block Inc and Afterpay Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Intercontinental Exchange Inc and Black Knight Inc. The Block Inc-Afterpay Ltd deal and the Intercontinental Exchange Inc-Black Knight Inc deal were valued at $29,000.0 million and $16,000.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between American Tower Corp-CoreSite Realty Corp valued at $10,100.0 million, whereas the deal between Altice UK Sarl-BT Group Plc valued at $3,111.6 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $87,811.57 million and accounted for nearly 48.00% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Asia-Pacific accounted for 48.93% of the total M&A deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $89,655.4 million, which accounted for 32.85% of the total deal size on a global scale.
