Mexico: ESG Related Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active ESG related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Mexico decreased by 14.23% MoM, and decreased by 6.71% since October 2023, reaching 1,085 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 465 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 8.64% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 645 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 39.31% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 14.36% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 60.05%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.04%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.29% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 16.97%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 513, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 498 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 1,203.
