India: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of India decreased by 28.28% MoM, and decreased by 14.8% since October 2023, reaching 21,795 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 9,616 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 39.45% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 18,211 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 79.17% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 11.86% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 135.92%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.12%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.2% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 33.12%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 11,308, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 11,456 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 25,609.
