India: ESG Related Job Trends in the Transport and Logistics Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active ESG related job postings in the Transport and Logistics sector of India decreased by 3.83% MoM, and decreased by 19.43% since October 2023, reaching 477 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 181 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 0.55% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 200 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 12.28% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 23.31% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 17.36%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.46%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.95% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.16%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 199, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 229 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 526.
