Soft drinks and hot beverages have shown positive growth while alcohol consumption was flat in this quarter. Packaged, enhanced and flavored water showed double-digit growth for carbonated water products clearly sourcing consumption from lapsed carbonates drinkers. Energy drinks and iced/RTD tea drinks saw a lower growth while iced/RTD coffee drinks sales continued to accelerate. A noticeable slowdown in craft beer consumption was seen although sales still growing, driven largely by new product introductions.
