BKT, the tyre manufacturer has eight active deals in cricket as per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database. BKT’s most recent sponsorship deal was announced in March 2022, and is worth $2 million. As per the deal, they agreed to sponsor Punjab Kings for the 2022 season. As part of the agreement, BKT will serve as an official tyre partner.
Toyota, a car manufacturer has three active deals in cricket as per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database. Toyota’s most recent deal was signed in March 2022, with Cricket Australia (CA), the national governing body for cricket. The four-year partnership deal is worth $12 million and covers the 2022-23 to 2025-26 period. As part of the agreement, Toyota will support the men's national team and the Big Bash League, Australia’s premier T20 competition. In addition, the partnership has been expanded to include support for the women's national team and the Women's Big Bash League, while CA's inclusion and diversity programs will also receive support through it.
Vertu Motors, the motor retail brand has two active deals in cricket as per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database. Their latest deal was signed in April 2022, with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. The two-year partnership is worth $0.5 million and covers the 2022 and 2023 season. As part of the agreement, Vertu’s brand logo will be visible on the back or sleeve of the team’s shirts across all formats of the game. Additionally, Vertu will benefit from pitch-side displays, digital opportunities at Trent Bridge, and player appearances.
MRF Tyres
As per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database, MRF Tyres, has two active deals in cricket. Their latest deal was announced in March 2022, with the International Cricket Council, the international governing body for cricket. The partnership is worth $2.5 million and covers the 2022 period.
As per GlobalData’s Sponsorship database, MRF signed its largest deal in cricket in 2017, an eight-year deal, valued at $17 million with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. The deal signed is a renewal of an existing deal with Virat Kohli. As part of the agreement, MRF will serve as Kohli's bat sponsor.
