The number of active Technology related job postings in the Global Chemicals Sector decreased by 15.98% MoM, and decreased by 28.48% since October 2023, reaching 9,004 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 2,741 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 0.88% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 4,453 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 23.18% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 39.92% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 25.66%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 15.62%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 10.57% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 9.41%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 3,441, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 4,695 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 10,981.
