As the in-store sale of confectionery products took a hit during the pandemic, the UK’s Confectionery market continued to decline for the second year in 2020. Mars ranked second in the confectionery product market in the UK 

Mars held the second-largest share (by value) in the UK's confectionery market in 2020. The company owns more than 10 brands selling confectionery items in the UK. Wrigley`s brand was the biggest contributor to the company’s confectionery sales in the UK. Galaxy, Maltesers, Celebrations, and Mars are some of the other prominent brands operating in the UK market under Mars.
