Support for Ukraine
The G7 leaders reiterated their condemnation of Russia's aggression against Ukraine. As part of this initiative, standards would be applied to projects to ensure that the investment is economically and commercially driven and does not lead to debt traps.

The G7 leaders also expressed their commitment to take immediate action to secure energy supply and reduce price increases, which includes exploring other measures such as price caps. The G7 countries will improve global food security through the Global Alliance on Food Security which aims at mitigating the supply crisis caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Climate Change
To accelerate the implementation of the Paris Agreement, the G7 leaders proposed an inclusive and transparent International Climate Club. The club will focus on three core pillars: expanding trade in low-carbon goods, pricing pollution, and greening heavy industry. The club will be established by the end of 2022.
