The country’s population has increased in 2021, compared to the population in 2020. During 2017-2020, the population of the country grew at a significant percentage. The population is expected to increase in 2024. The population is expected to grow at an average annual rate of a fair percentage during the period from 2022-2024.
Population age – Split
Most of the Venezuela’s population is between the age of 15 and 64. In 2021, a significant percentage of the population was below 15 years of age, a majority was in the working-age bracket (15– 64), and the rest was aged above 65 years. The share of working-age population is expected to increase slightly in 2025, and the 65 and above population is also expected to increase in 2025. It increased from 2015 and is expected by 2025.
