The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Retailing Sector decreased by 31.83% MoM, and decreased by 40.42% since October 2023, reaching 4,079 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 1,477 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.32% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,382 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 56.28% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 48.32% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 22.58%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 19.75%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 15.85% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.02%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 2,104, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 2,771 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 5,852.
