The number of active Technology related job postings in the Retailing sector of United States decreased by 8.71% MoM, and decreased by 23.11% since October 2023, reaching 63,122 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 28,605 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 11.21% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 34,629 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 6.07% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted increased by 5.67% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 6.89%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.86%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.39% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.25%.
