The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Travel & Tourism (Travel Services) Sector decreased by 1.8% MoM, and decreased by 15.95% since October 2023, reaching 490 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 164 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 33.33% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 173 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 0.57% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 9.39% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed decreased by 28.51%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.23%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.63% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 10.59%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 155, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 194 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 530.
