The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Automotive sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 4.49% MoM, and decreased by 22.88% since October 2023, reaching 745 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 234 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 14.15% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 269 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 26.3% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 25% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 32.58%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.14%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 8.29% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 12.31%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 257, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 334 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 857.
