The number of active Internet of Things related job postings driven by Internet of Things in the Automotive sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 9.49% MoM, and decreased by 26.52% since October 2023, reaching 496 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 99 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 13.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 151 Internet of Things related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 20.94% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted decreased by 33.11% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 10.65%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 12.54%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.76% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.68%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 118, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 168 and the average number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 592.
