The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings driven by Cybersecurity in the Automotive sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 1.59% MoM, and decreased by 13.43% since October 2023, reaching 683 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 152 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 12.59% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 163 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 15.1% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted decreased by 34.48% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed decreased by 39.18%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 13.15%, the number of active Cybersecurity related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.7% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 15.27%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs posted stood at 185, the average number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed stood at 221 and the average number of active Cybersecurity related jobs stood at 729.
