The number of active job postings in the Automotive sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 12.3% MoM, and decreased by 17.85% since October 2023, reaching 22,480 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 8,215 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 82.56% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 11,368 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 94.26% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 36.92% and the number of jobs closed increased by 69.95%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 11.04%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.35% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 19.34%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 6,247, number of jobs closed stood at 7,641 and number of active jobs stood at 25,616.
