In the LTM period, July 2021 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $457.8 million, resulting in an average deal value of $114.5 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of January 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 8 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $11.2 million during that month.

The second-largest deal was between Bay Capital Pte. Ltd.; Chiratae Ventures; Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd and Lenskart Solutions Pvt Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between INGKA Holding BV; Jungle Ventures Pte Ltd; KKR & Co. L.L.C.; Peugeot Investments; Venturi Partners and Home Interior Designs E-commerce Pvt Ltd. The Bay Capital Pte. Ltd.; Chiratae Ventures; Falcon Edge Capital, LP; Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd-Lenskart Solutions Pvt Ltd deal and the INGKA Holding BV; Jungle Ventures Pte Ltd; KKR & Co. L.L.C.; Peugeot Investments; Venturi Partners-Home Interior Designs E-commerce Pvt Ltd deal were valued at $220.0 million and $180.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Alteria Capital Advisors LLP; Aman Gupta; Amansa Capital Pte. Ltd.; Amazon.com Inc; Axis Growth Avenues AIF- I; Bessemer Venture Partners; Haresh Chawla; Kotak Private Equity Group; L’Occitane Groupe S.A; Mankekar Family Office; Nikhil Kamath; Nithin Kamath; Prosus Ventures; UTI Ventures; Warburg Pincus LLC-Delightful Gourmet Pvt Ltd; Sanghvi Beauty & Technologies Pvt Ltd valued at $150.0 million, whereas the deal between CE Ventures UAE; Lightbox Ventures; Zinnia Investment Advisers Pvt. Ltd.-Kieraya Furnishing Solutions Pvt Ltd valued at $140.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.

  • Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $940.0 million and accounted for nearly 48.45% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
