Mexico: Technology Related Job Trends in the Financial Services Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

  • The number of active Technology related job postings in the Financial Services sector of Mexico decreased by 17.72% MoM, and decreased by 32.62% since October 2023, reaching 1,258 active job postings in January 2024

  • A total of 663 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 2.93% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 934 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.71% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 52.4% and the number of Technology related jobs closed decreased by 7.71%.

  • In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 21.92%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 12.33% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 2.64%.
