The second-largest deal was between Coatue Management LLC and Niantic Inc, while the third-largest deal was between Bond Capital Partners (UK) Limited; New Enterprise Associates Inc; Silver Lake Partners, L.P.; Tamarack Global and Genies Inc. The Coatue Management LLC-Niantic Inc deal and the Bond Capital Partners (UK) Limited; New Enterprise Associates Inc; Silver Lake Partners, L.P.; Tamarack Global-Genies Inc deal were valued at $300.0 million and $150.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Coatue Management LLC; Index Ventures LLP; Madrona Venture Group LLC; Sequoia Capital US-Rec Room Inc valued at $145.0 million, whereas the deal between Alkeon Capital Management LLC; Colorcon Ventures; Insight Partners; Pacific Western Bank; Silverton Partners LP-Apprentice.io valued at $100.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,695.0 million and accounted for nearly 68.04% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The North America region accounted for 53.79% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and accounted for 39.01% of the total deal size on a global scale.
