Top 10 Venture Capital Investors in Medical Industry in the World in 2021 by Deal Value

Tiger Global Management LLC, T Rowe Price Associates Inc, Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd, General Catalyst Partners LLC, and Rock Springs Capital Management LP are among the top 5 venture capital investors in the medical industry in the world in 2021 by deal value.  In terms of the geographic split, 7 out of 10 of the world’s top 10 venture capital investors in the medical industry are headquartered in North America, while 2 are based in Asia, and the remaining 1 is based in Europe. They employed a total of 989 people in 2021.   Cyrus Biotechnology’s series B financing deal was one of the major VC deals in the medical sector in 2021. The deal was completed in Q4 2021.  Esco Lifesciences’s series A financing was another major VC deal in the medical sector in 2021. Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP served as legal advisors to Esco Lifesciences Group. Esco Lifesciences. (Esco Micro Pte Ltd), a life science company with a diversified portfolio has raised $200 million in series A financing from Vivo Capital and Novo Holdings A/S. The deal was completed in Q2 2021.
