Barwa Real Estate Co (Barwa) is a provider of property development and investment services. It carries out acquisition, development, sale and resale of land; and development of industrial, agriculture and commercial projects. The company also buys, sells, and leases buildings or other projects; and owns and operates hotels. As of December 2022, the company’s portfolio included 7,289 residential units; 38,281 worker rooms; 288,000 square meters (sq. m.) of shops, showrooms, and offices; 232 hotel rooms; and 448,053 sq. m. of workshops and warehouses. The company also had 5 million sq. m. domestic land and 80,000 million sq. m. of international land. The company owns investment properties in Bahrain, Morocco, Cyprus, and the UK. Barwa is headquartered in Doha, Qatar.
