Occidental Petroleum Corp (Occidental) is an oil and gas exploration and production company. It explores for, develops and produces oil, natural gas liquids (NGLs), natural gas and condensate. The company gathers, processes, transports, stores, purchases and markets oil, condensate, NGLs, natural gas, carbon dioxide (CO2) and power. Occidental also manufactures and markets basic chemicals and vinyls. The company operates through its major subsidiaries, Oxychem and Occidental Low Carbon Ventures, which are involved in the chemicals business and Midstream business, respectively. It has operations in the US, Middle East and Latin America. Occidental is headquartered in Houston, Texas, the US.
