NFI Group Inc (NFI), formerly New Flyer Industries Inc, is a manufacturer and distributor of heavy-duty transit buses and motor coaches. The company also provides maintenance services, training, documentation and aftermarket services. Besides clean diesel, its heavy duty transit buses use compressed natural gas (CNG), zero-emission electric trolleys, diesel-electric hybrid, hydrogen fuel cell, and all-electric batteries. Its customers include inter-city line-haul operators, charter and private tour operators, municipal, private, and public fleet operators, and other local transit agencies. NFI Group operates fabrication, manufacturing, distribution, and service centers in Canada and the US. Besides Canada, the company operates in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. NFI Group is headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
