Google and Intel among the leading companies in GlobalData’s high performance computing theme for the servers, storage and networking sector

Google, Intel, and Amazon are the leading companies in the high performance computing (HPC) theme, according to the latest Thematic Scorecard for the servers, storage and networking sector from GlobalData.

HPC, which includes super-computers and artificial intelligence (AI) engines, is one of the fastest growing segments of the computing hardware market.

All three companies gained the highest Thematic score (5 out of 5) for the HPC theme in GlobalData’s Thematic Scorecard for the servers, storage and networking sector. A Thematic score of 5 out of 5 indicates that the companies’ competitive position in this theme will significantly improve their future performance.

On their tail, with a score of 4 out of 5 in the HPC theme, are Cisco, Fabrinet, Lumentum, Dell, Huawei, Acacia Communications, Big Switch Networks, Nvidia, Lenovo, Inspur Electric, Western Digital, and Extreme Networks.
