Arada completes eight residential buildings in Naseej District

Property development company Arada has announced the completion of all eight Tiraz buildings in Naseej District, Sharjah, UAE.

Naseej is a new creative district based within the Dh35bn ($3.46bn) Aljada megaproject.

Spanning 24 million square feet, Aljada encompasses residential districts, retail spaces, educational institutions, healthcare services, and more.

Kuwaiti company Mohammad Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi & Sons secured the construction contract for the Tiraz buildings in February 2022.

The first four buildings were completed in December 2023.

The eight Tiraz buildings include 920 homes, with each home offering proximity to a variety of cultural, artistic, and retail destinations.

The buildings comprise studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, with each apartment comprising smart home features.

With the completion of the Tiraz buildings, Aljada now has more than 7,500 finished units.

Construction on five Sokoon buildings and two Il Teatro Residences buildings, housing a total of 625 homes, all within Naseej District, are expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Additionally, the construction of the Vida Aljada hotel complex, comprising four blocks and 529 units, is expected to be finished in the first half of 2025.

Arada group CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi said: “We’re delighted to welcome the first families to Naseej District, just one of the many exciting and fulfilling communities available to residents at Aljada.

“We’re now working hard to deliver the remaining residential blocks in Naseej District, as well as awarding the contract for Il Teatro by the end of this year, which will together result in an impressive new creative district for Sharjah.”

last October, Arada granted two contracts to build a residential development in Jouri Hills at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai.
