Hyatt unveils first hotel in Mazatlán, Mexico
The luxury all-suite resort features 358 suites, each with furnished balconies or terraces.
Hyatt Hotels has launched its family-friendly, all-inclusive Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort.
The luxury all-suite resort marks the first Hyatt hotel in Mazatlán, Mexico. It is situated less than six miles from the Mazatlán International Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre.
Hyatt Hotels Latin America & Caribbean president Gabriel Felip said: “We are thrilled to introduce guests and World of Hyatt members to the pearl of Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
“The opening of Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort represents an opportunity to contribute greater value to Hyatt’s existing portfolio in the rapidly growing market by offering guests the first Hyatt resort in this brand-new destination.”
Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort features 358 suites, each with furnished balconies or terraces that offer views of the Pacific Ocean.
The suites come with amenities such as a fully stocked and daily refreshed in-room mini-bar and 24-hour room service, among others.
Catering to guests travelling with families or larger groups, the resort offers options for connecting rooms in various categories and accessible rooms are available upon request.
The Preferred Club at the resort provides upgraded suites and exclusive services, including personalised check-in and check-out, access to the Preferred Club lounge, and more.
This resort is designed to accommodate multigenerational travel and includes an adult-only section with a private pool and swim-up bar.
Dining options at the property include four à la carte restaurants, a grill, an international buffet, an ice cream booth, and five bars and lounges.
This property also offers exclusive experiences such as tequila tastings and guided pairing dinners, for an additional cost.
The resort provides a variety of activities, including an on-site waterpark with a lazy river, daytime and nighttime entertainment, and water sports.
Its Explorer’s Club for Kids caters to children within the age group of 3-12 years and the Core Zone Teens Club for teens aged 13-17 years.
The Dreams Spa at the resort features a full-service salon, Turkish bath, guided hydrotherapy, and a fitness centre.
This resort's convention centre has the capacity for up to 700 people, and the expansive outdoor grounds can accommodate events, with a gazebo, garden, terrace, and ballroom.
The nearby clubhouse can host events for up to 1,000 people.
Guests also have access to the adjacent Estrella del Mar Golf Course, an 18-hole course, pickleball courts, and a turtle sanctuary.
Hyatt's expansion in the region is set to continue, with openings planned through 2024 and 2025.
This includes the Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa and Breathless Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, among others.
The latest move comes shortly after Hyatt’s debut of its adults-only Hyatt Vivid brand with the opening of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun, Mexico.
