I.P to debut new Ivy juice range in SIG XSlimBloc carton packs

I.P. Natural Products has selected SIG's XSlimBloc carton packs to launch its new range of juices within its Ivy beverage line.

The new additions feature two unique Asia-inspired flavours: tamarind made with local Thai ingredients, and plum made with fresh Taiwanese plums.

These flavours will be available in two sizes, 170ml and 200ml, and are set to hit Thai retail shelves soon.

The SIG XSlim 24 Aseptic filling machine, which is used for the carton packaging process, is designed to allow for flexibility.

It can fill up to nine different pack sizes at a high speed of up to 24,000 packs per hour, according to SIG.

Moreover, the machine's changeover time for switching pack sizes is under 15 minutes, enabling businesses to adapt quickly to consumer demands.

The partnership between I.P. and SIG has been ongoing for 27 years, offering popular beverages to the Asian market.

I.P. One Company managing director and president Uthai Thaneswarakul said: "I.P. is thrilled to continue our long-term partnership with SIG as we expand Ivy’s beverage categories to meet the diverse needs of our consumers. We share SIG’s core values of providing consumers with safe and high-quality UHT [ultra-high temperature] products and believe in SIG’s commitment to providing even more sustainable innovations.

"We are committed to producing good quality products. I want Thai people to use and consume quality products, including delicious food and beverages made from quality ingredients. This is the key to our success, allowing us to grow sustainably both domestically and abroad."

SIG's XSlimBloc carton packs are available in a range of volumes, starting from 80ml to 200ml.

Last month, Vietnamese dairy company Nutifood adopted SIG’s DomeMini on-the-go carton bottle for its Varna brand.
