IHG expands StayBridge Suites brand across Europe
More than 380 rooms have been added to IHG’s upscale extended stay brand Staybridge Suites.
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) has announced its growth in the European upscale extended stay segment with the signing of three new locations: Staybridge Suites Budapest - Parkside, Hungary; Staybridge Suites Antwerp, Belgium, and Staybridge Suites Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Staybridge Suites Budapest - Parkside, Hungary is set to open in 2027 and is signed under a franchise agreement with the Mogotel Hotel Group and developed by the UDI Group. The 152-room hotel is located in the 13th district of the Hungarian capital and will form part of a mixed-use development project.
Staybridge Suites Antwerp, Belgium has been signed with Borealis Hotel Group. The 99-room hotel will open at the end of 2026 and marks the brand’s debut in Belgium.
Staybridge Suites Belfast, Northern Ireland, the fourth IHG property owned by Andras House, will be part of the Bedford Yard development and will open towards the end of 2027, offering 132 rooms.
The additions to the Staybridge Suites brand aim to provide spacious residential living. This includes fully equipped kitchens, fitness rooms, laundry facilities and storage lockers.
Each property offers a daily breakfast buffet, light meals and evening happy hour events hosted three nights a week to bring guests together.
IHG is expanding its Staybridge Suites portfolio across Europe, with nine properties in the pipeline set to join the existing 10 hotels.
Internationally, Staybridge Suites has 324 properties operational and a pipeline of 171 set to open up to 2028. It is part of IHG’s all-suites collection of brands which also include Candlewood Suites and Atwell Suites.
