Loqate provides address verification solution for Shopify Plus

With this integration, Shopify Plus merchants can accurately capture and verify global addresses during the e-commerce checkout process.

Global address verification company Loqate has launched an address verification solution specifically for Shopify Plus.

The solution will provide Shopify Plus merchants with a reliable method to capture and verify global addresses during the e-commerce checkout process.

The solution aims to improve customer data quality and user experience, and reduce the number of failed deliveries for Shopify Plus merchants.

The address solution by Loqate includes sub-premise-level data, such as flat, suite and floor numbers.

Loqate's app for Shopify Plus is powered by data from multiple trusted sources, offering a comprehensive repository of address data for 250 countries and territories.

The extensive coverage ensures that international addresses are standardised in the correct local format.

The solution provides granular data for more than 140 countries, including key markets such as North America, the UK and Germany.

Global product and support teams at Loqate are also available to assist merchants at any time.

Loqate chief marketing officer Chris Boaz said: “At Loqate, we understand the pivotal role that accurate address data plays in driving successful e-commerce operations. That's why our new integration provides Shopify merchants with the highest quality address data available.

“With Loqate's global dataset, merchants can unlock new markets, while our sub-premise data will reduce failed deliveries and deliver exceptional user experiences that keep customers coming back."

Shopify Plus merchants can use the solution by installing the app from the Shopify app store.

In February 2024, retail technology platform Lily AI announced its integration with e-commerce marketplace Shopify for enhanced customer-centric product attributes.
