Radisson brings RED brand to Laos as its Asia Pacific growth continues
The Radisson Hotel Group has announced its expansion into Laos with the upcoming opening of the Radisson RED Vientiane in the fourth quarter of 2024.
This marks the brand's debut in the country and signifies Radisson Hotel Group's accelerated growth strategy in Asia Pacific.
The new hotel is a collaboration with La Vie Hotels & Resorts, building upon their existing master collaboration agreement to develop 30 hotels together up to 2033.
The partnership aligns with Laos' booming tourism industry which saw a 285% increase in international visitors in the first nine months of 2023 compared to the same period of 2022.
Situated in the heart of Vientiane, surrounded by government offices, shops and restaurants, Radisson RED Vientiane will cater to both business and leisure travellers.
The upscale lifestyle hotel will offer 145 rooms and suites, including some with direct pool access, a pool bar, a restaurant and a fitness centre.
The hotel also offers 487m² of function space, including two ballrooms.
The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Vientiane's Wattay International Airport and close to the city's rail terminal for connections to China and eventually Thailand, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.
Recent openings include Auckland, Belgrade, Berlin, Lagos, Liverpool and Tbilisi. Upcoming additions include hotels in Phuket and Cebu.

“This bold brand fits perfectly within the city and its culture, and I am confident that its modern, upbeat vibe will become popular among visitors.”
