Wingstop UK opens new outlet at Merry Hill in West Midlands, UK
Real estate developer Sovereign Centros, a division of CBRE, has announced that Wingstop UK has opened a new outlet at Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill, West Midlands.
The 2,650ft² restaurant, the 45th location for the company, can accommodate 70 people.
The new Wingstop Merry Hill outlet offers wings, tenders, burgers and sides such as the recently launched Voodoo fries.
Guests can also order milkshakes, fizzy drinks, Camden Town Beer and churros for dessert.
The interior of the Wingstop UK location has a clean and modern style, with dark walls and furnishings highlighted in the brand's signature green.
Wingstop UK master franchisee Lemon Pepper Holdings co-founder Tom Grogan said: “We’re so excited to have opened at Merry Hill, continuing our rapid UK expansion journey.
“Since bringing Wingstop to the UK in 2018, our mission has always been to serve the world flavour and we are hugely excited to introduce our unique flavour experience to the Merry Hill community.”
Sovereign Centros asset manager Alistair Winning said: “Merry Hill’s new hub for eating and entertainment has come together brilliantly, and the launch of Wingstop UK marks another significant milestone.
“It was part of a long-term strategy to evolve the destination, introducing more food and beverages (F&B) and leisure, creating more of an all-day environment for our large catchment of young families.
“Wingstop UK will no doubt thrive amongst the complementary selection of leading F&B operators in the leisure quarter, as well as the wider destination.”
The new addition to Merry Hill's leisure quarter joins other dining options such as wagamama, Hollywood Bowl, ASK Italian and the upcoming smash burger concept, Boo.
In April 2024 Wingstop UK increased its London footprint with a new venue on Clapham High Street, accommodating 60 diners.
