Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and Shearman & Sterling LLP served as legal advisors to Chevron, while Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal advisor to Renewable Energy Group. Chevron Corp., an integrated energy company, has completed the acquisition of Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG), engaged in the transformation of biofuel into something that helps improve the environment and grow customers’ profits, for cash consideration of $3,150 million, or $61.5 per share.
