Top 10 Private Equity Investors in Power Industry in the World in 2021 by Deal Volume

BlackRock Inc, Brookfield Asset Management Inc, Apollo Global Management Inc, BitVault Inc, and Canadian Shield Capital are among the top 5 private equity investors in the power industry in 2021 by deal volume. In terms of the geographic split, 8 out of the world’s top 10 private equity investors in the power industry are headquartered in North America, and the remaining 2 are based in Europe. Strata Solar (Strata), a provider of utility-scale solar and battery-energy-storage systems, has entered into an agreement with Blackstone, through Blackstone Credit (formerly GSO Capital Partners LP) and its affiliates to provide Strata with $150 million of capital. The deal was completed in Q2 2021.
