OGK-2, formerly OGK-2 OAO, a subsidiary of Gazprom, is an energy company that carries out generation and supply of electricity and heat. Through its several power plants situated in the Russian Federation, it produces and distributes heat and energy. It is one of the biggest producers of thermal electricity. Its thermal power plants include Surgutskaya GRES-1, Ryazanskaya GRES, Kirishskaya GRES, Stavropolskaya GRES, Novocherkasskaya GRES, Troitskaya GRES, Groznenskaya TPP, Cherepovetsskaya GRES, Serovskaya GRES, Pskovskaya GRES, and Adlerskaya TPP. The company sells electricity in wholesale market. It also sells electricity to retail market where it is purchased by local consumers, industrial and public utility companies. OGK-2 is headquartered in Moscow, Russian Federation.
