OGK-2, formerly OGK-2 OAO, a subsidiary of Gazprom, is an energy company that carries out the generation and supply of electricity and heat. Through its power plants situated in Russia, it produces and distributes heat and energy through thermal power generation. The company's thermal power plants include Surgutskaya GRES-1, Ryazanskaya GRES, Kirishskaya GRES, Stavropolskaya GRES, Novocherkasskaya GRES, Troitskaya GRES, Groznenskaya TPP, Cherepovetsskaya GRES, Serovskaya GRES, Pskovskaya GRES, and Adlerskaya TPP. OGK-2 sells electricity in the wholesale market. It also sells electricity to a retail market where it is purchased by local consumers and industrial and public utility companies.
