Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla has been the Chairman of the company since 1995. He also serves as the Chairman for Aditya Birla Group's major subsidiaries including Aditya Birla Minerals, Columbian Chemicals, Thai Carbon Black, Aditya Birla Chemicals, Alexandria Carbon Black, Domsjo Fabriker and Terrace Bay Pulp Mill. Prior to this, he worked as a Director of the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India, Chairman of the Advisory Committee constituted by the Ministry of Company Affairs and was also a part of the Prime Minister of India’s Advisory Council on Trade and Industry. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI’s) committee on Insider Trading. He is also associated with educational institutions. He serves as the Chancellor of Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Chairman of IIM, Ahmedabad and IIT, Delhi and Director of the G D Birla Medical Research & Education Foundation.

Mr. Kamlesh Rao is the Chief Executive Officer, Director and Managing Director of the company. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer for Retail and Managing Director at Kotak Securities Ltd. He joined Kotak Securities as a management trainee. Earlier, he held various roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. He holds more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services.

Mr. Sandesh Joshi is the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He joined the Aditya Birla Group in 2005 and then moved to ABSLI in June 2006. He has handled various roles in Finance across Accounts, Procurement, Planning & Strategy, and Business Intelligence. He has 15 years of experience in Life Insurance.

Mr. Devendra Singhvi is the Chief Investment Officer of the company. Previously, he served at Reliance ADA Group Treasury, Hindalco Industries Ltd and Prebon Yamane. He has over 20 years of experience in capital markets.

Mr. Anil Kumar Singh is the Chief Actuarial Officer and Appointed Actuary of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Actuary and Appointed Actuary of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Previously, he was associated with Life Insurance Corporation of India and Aviva Life Insurance. Mr. Singh holds about 21 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry in India.
