Mr. Steven A. Elms has been the Chairman of the company since 2007. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Partner at Aisling Capital since 2000. Previously, he served a Principal in the Life Sciences Investment Banking Group of Hambrecht & Quist. Prior to joining Hambrecht & Quist, Mr. Elms traded mortgage-backed securities at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Currently, he also serves on the board of directors of Elevation Oncology, Marker Therapeutics and Treeline Biosciences.

Mr. Adam S. Grossman has been the Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2011. Prior to this, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company between 2007 and October 2011. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of National Hospital Specialties and GenesisBPS, a position he held between 1994 and 2011.

Mr. Terry Kohler has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the company since February 2026. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Optinose. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Verrica Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Kohler also served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasurer at Endo.

Ms. Kaitlin Kestenberg has been the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Compliance of the company since 2024. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Vice President, Compliance and Project Operations of the company from April 2023 to March 2024 and as Vice President, Compliance and Project Management and Acting Head of Analytical and Process Development from May 2021 to March 2023. Ms. Kestenberg also served as the Vice President, Compliance and Project Management from April 2019 until May 2021 and as Senior Director, Compliance, Project Management and Clinical Operations from January 2018 to March 2019. Previously, she held roles in clinical operations, quality operations and compliance at Acorda Therapeutics, Inc and Merck & Co Inc.
