Mr. Lard Friese has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since May 2020. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of NN Group. Earlier, he served in various positions at ING from 2008 to 2014.

Mr. Matthew J. Rider has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2017. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Administration Officer and Member of the Management Board at ING Insurance from 2010 to 2013. Previously, he served in various positions at Merrill Lynch Insurance Group, ING, and Transamerica. Mr. Rider began his at Banner Life Insurance Company.

Ms. Debbie Waters has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since January 2022. Previously, she held roles included leading Client Centric and Equities Technology and as the Chief Operating Officer for the Markets Technology organization. She also managed Markets and Operational Risk Technology. In 1995, she joined Citigroup Inc. and held various technology leadership positions in the intervening years.

Ms. Astrid Jakel has been the Chief Risk Officer of the company since March 2022. Previously, she worked for the international management consultancy firm, Oliver Wyman as a Partner in the European Insurance and Asset Management Practice, co-leader of the European Insurance Financial Effectiveness team and a member of the Board of Oliver Wyman's Swiss subsidiary.

Ms. Allegra van Hovell-Patrizi has been the Chief Executive Officer of Aegon the Netherlands since June 2021. She joined the company in 2015. Prior to this, she served as the Group Risk Director at Prudential plc. Ms. Hovell-Patrizi started her career at McKinsey & Company in 1996.
