Mr. Bart De Smet has been the Chairman of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fortis and Fortis Insurance Belgium. In 1994, he joined ING Insurance Belgium, where he served as a member of the Executive Committee. He also served as the Executive Vice President of Life division at the Swiss insurance company, Nationale Suisse, from 1985 to 1993.

Mr. Hans De Cuyper has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since October 2020. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer of AG Insurance. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer for Etiqa and Chief Financial Officer in Etiqa Insurance & Takaful.

Mr. Wim Guilliams has been the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at AG Insurance. He also serves as a Director of Ageas Insurance International NV, AG Real Estate SA/NV, DTH Capital, and Taiping Asset Management Co, Ltd. Previously, he served as the board member of KBC Group in Belgium and Eastern Europe, and ING Insurance in Belgium.

Mr. Christophe Vandeweghe is the Chief Risk Officer and Director of the company. Previously, he served as the Chief Risk Officer of Continental Europe, and executive member of Ageas Portugal. Earlier, he worked at ING Insurance and Deloitte.

Mr. Emmanuel Van Grimbergen has been the Managing Director of Reinsurance and Investments of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Risk Officer and Director of the company. Previously, he served in Product Development and Risk/Actuarial departments at ING. He also held various senior management positions at ING Insurance’s Belgian entity. Earlier, he served as the Chief Actuary of ING Southwest Europe and, was appointed as the Chief Insurance Risk Officer of ING Insurance Retail Banking. He also served as the Chief Risk Officer of ING Central and Rest of Europe.
