Overview
Comprises consumer, business, and new energy service customers. Offers retailing of electricity, gas, solar, and energy efficiency products and services to business and residential customers. Sources energy from the wholesale markets at transfer prices. In FY2023, the segment incurred a capital expenditure of AUD105 million which grew 36.4% YoY.

Overview
Sells electricity, natural gas and related products and services. Comprises three business units: Wholesale Electricity, Wholesale Gas, and Eco Markets. Also supplies to retailers, internal and third-party gas-fired generators and other customers. Eco Markets - manages price risk and other obligation associated in procuring electricity and gas for customers. Wholesale electricity - manages procurement of key fuel inputs and hedging of wholesale electricity that manages commercial and generation portfolios. Wholesale gas - procures and manages gas supply and transports to customers at wholesale prices. Other components of Integrated Energy comprise AGL Energy’s power generation portfolio. Includes four business units: Thermal, Renewables, Natural Gas and Other operations. Thermal - operates various thermal plants such as AGL Macquarie, which comprises Bayswater Power Station Station (12,916 GWh), Liddell Power Station (5,020GWh) and black coal power plants in New South Wales; AGL Loy Yang (12,418 GWh) that includes brown coal mine and power plant in Victoria; and AGL Torrens, which includes a power plant in South Australia. Renewables - operates various wind generation units across Australia such as wind power generation in South Australia and Victoria, hydro-electric power stations in Victoria and New South Wales and solar power plants in New South Wales. Natural Gas - develops and operates gas storage facilities in Australia. Major projects include Camden Gas Project, Silver Springs underground storage facility and the Newcastle Gas Storage Facility. Other operations - include Distributed Energy Services such as active stream digital metering business and the solar and storage installation business. In FY2023, the segment incurred a capital expenditure of AUD498 million which declined 7.4% YoY.
