Aluminium Bahrain BSC: Executives

Mr. Khaled Omar Mohamed Al Rumaihi has been the Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) from 2019 to 2023. Mr. Rumaihi also served as the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB). He also served as the Head of their Private Client group in the Gulf region at JP Morgan. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Amriya Group.

Mr. Ali Al Baqali has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as a Director of Saint Christopher’s School and Tenmou. Mr. Baqali also served as the Vice Chairman and Director of the International Aluminum Institute (IAI) from 2019 - 2024. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), and a Director of INJAZ.

Mr. Ricardo Fontes Santana has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Director of IPCG.

Mr. Hisham Alkooheji has been the Chief Marketing Officer of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Director Marketing Middle East, Africa and Asia at the company.

Mr. Waleed Tamimi has been the Chief Supply Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Administration Officer of the company. He worked as the Director of Administration and Senior Manager of Strategic Supply and Planning of the company. Mr. Tamimi also served as the Manager of Operational Excellence at the company and the General Manager of Business Improvement Group at Rezayat Group of Companies in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
