The segment comprises of two sub segments; Human Health and Animal Health -Human Health: Distributes an array of brand-name, specialty brand-name, and generic pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products, outsourced compounded sterile preparations, home healthcare supplies and equipment, and related services to acute care hospitals and health systems, mail-order pharmacies, medical clinics, independent and chain retail pharmacies, long-term care, and alternate site pharmacies and other customers. -Provides pharmaceutical distribution (including plasma and other blood products, vaccines, injectible pharmaceuticals, and other specialty pharmaceutical products) and other services to physicians specialized in various disease states, especially cancer, and to other healthcare providers, including dialysis clinics and hospitals. -It also offers data analytics, outcomes research, and additional services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers; pharmacy management; staffing and additional consulting services; supply management software to retail and institutional healthcare providers; and packaging solutions to institutional and retail healthcare providers. -MWI Animal Health (MWI): -Sells pharmaceuticals, parasiticides, vaccines, microfeed ingredients, diagnostics, and other products to customers in both the production animal and companion animal markets.
