Amplify Energy Corp: Executives

Mr. Christopher Wilson Hamm has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. Previously, he served as the Company’s Lead Director since 2020. Prior to that, Mr. Christopher served as Executive Director of Institutional Services at CIBC Oppenheimer.

Mr. Dan Furbee has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company. Previously, Mr. Furbee served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Riviera Resources, Inc. from August 2018 to December 2020. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Asset and Business Development at Linn Energy Inc from March 2018 to August 2018. Before that, he served as the Vice President of Business Development and Asset Development at Sanchez Energy Corporation from September 2013 to February 2018.

Mr. James Frew has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since April 2023 and President of the company since July 2025. Prior to this, he served as a Partner at Sentinel Petroleum from March 2022 to April 2023. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Riviera Resources, Inc. from August 2018 to October 2020. Before that, he served as the Vice President of Marketing and Midstream at Linn Energy from May 2014 to August 2018 and Director of Business Development, Strategy and Planning from May 2011 to May 2014. Mr. Frew held several roles in the Natural Resources division of the J.M. from August 2002 to May 2011.

Mr. Tony Lopez has been the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Exploitation of the company since 2019. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Corporate Reserves from 2018 until the closing of the merger with Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Lopez served as the Vice President of Acquisitions and Engineering for EnerVest, Ltd. from 2014 to 2018.

Mr. Eric Michael Willis has been the Senior Vice President, General Counsel of Land and Corporate Secretary of the company since 2019. Previously, he served as the Vice President and General Counsel at the company from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Willis was a partner in the capital markets practice group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
