APL's R&D initiatives focus on genetic enhancement, agroforestry innovation, and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. The company maintains 10 active R&D trial plots dedicated to developing high-yield clonal varieties with superior wood productivity and climate resistance. Collaborations with research institutions like the Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) and the Institute of Forest Biodiversity (IFB) are instrumental in these efforts.
