Aygaz has undertaken several R&D initiatives, focusing on developing innovative products and launching important projects through university-industry collaborations in FY2024. The company's R&D Center, aims to enhance product and service quality, improve business processes, and work on alternative fuels and clean energy. In FY2024, the center focused on advancing LPG use, enhancing product quality, and reducing emissions and carbon footprint. Notable projects include the development of a zeolite-based high-performance adsorbent for sulfur removal from LPG. The center also commercialized the Smart Scale, an IoT device for monitoring gas levels in cylinders, and developed a Demand-Flow Regulator and an Emergency Disaster Generator prototype. Aygaz AS has one R&D center. The company has 15 projects in R&D status and has formed major technology alliances through university-industry collaborations, such as partnerships with Koç University and Inönü University for projects related to DME production and bioDME from organic waste.
