Mr. Hector Grisi Checa has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the group since 2023. Previously, he served as the Regional Head for North America in the group. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico and Santander Mexico. He also served as the Vice Chair of Asociacion de Bancos de Mexico from 2011 to 2014. Currently, he serves as a Director at Cogrimex, S.A. de C.V.

Ms. Ana Botin-Sanz de Sautuola y O'Shea has been the Chairwoman of Banco Santander since 2014. She also serves as a Director of The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Santander UK from 2010 to 2014. She was the Chairman of Banesto from 2002 to 2010. Earlier, Ms. O'Shea served as a Senior Executive Vice President of the group since 1992. She joined the group after a period at JP Morgan from 1980 to 1988.

Mr. Jose Antonio Garcia Cantera has been the Chief Financial Officer of the group since 2015. Prior to this, she served as a Director of Citigroup Capital Markets Int, Ltd and Citigroup Capital Markets UK. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Banco Español de Crédito, S.A. Earlier, he served as the Senior Executive Vice President of Global Wholesale Banking of Banco Español de Crédito, S.A.

Mr. Dirk Marzluf serves as the Chief Operating & Technology Officer of the group. Previously, he served as a Head-Technology and Operations, and Senior Executive Vice President of the group. Prior to this, he served various leadership position and as the Chief Information Officer of AXA Group. He also served senior management roles at Accenture, Daimler Chrysler and Winterthur Group.

Mr. Mahesh Aditya has been the Group Chief Risk Officer of the group since March 2023. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Santander Consumer USA. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Santander Holdings USA. Earlier, he worked with Capital One, Citibank, and JP Morgan.
